Hilda Rodríguez

Hello there!
My name is Hilda Rodríguez and I am from Costa Rica.
Let me tell you a little about what is teaching for me:

I like to think of educating as a personal journey for each one of my students.
Each person learns in a different way, therefore there are no general rules when it comes to master a new language, just respecting the process, the individuality, and the availability of each student. I have more than 10 years of experience in the Education field, teaching Spanish and English as a second language in Costa Rica, with Spanish being my native language and having a full proficiency of English as well to support my career. I have worked with groups, or individuals, of all ages. I came to deepen my techniques and methodologies with my last degree in Psychology that helps me understand even better the large range of the human learning process.

Please remember:

1. First of all, it is an honor to take you through the journey of learning a second language.

2. I adapt my techniques according to the needs of each student or group.

3. I love to educate through games, role plays, projects, talk shows, and motivating great participation of the student or group.

4. What is important to you will be a priority to me. For example, if you are interested in having an extensive technical vocabulary in your area of work, or if you are more focused on pronunciation, or if you are passionate about books and a well-established grammar, I’m sure we can make it work!
