Personally, i use many different kinds of procedures as a teacher in a classroom or in one-on-one private sessions. Many of them are similar and fit the same purpose, so i utilize a blend of these methods to best fit the needs for all of my students. For instance, i use a differentiated instruction technique of teaching to create a tailored education plan for each student based on their differing needs and levels. This involves the type of activities I assign for them, the assessment techniques I use to track their progress, and even the physical setup of my classroom. Since all students have varying abilities, I adapt my teaching styles for each student. This is a key step in supporting all students and ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable in their academic environment and journey. Furthermore, my technique includes segmenting my students into groups to enhance and strengthen their collaboration and communication skills. In that way, I allow them to discuss different subjects together and learn about the perspectives and opinions of others. I find it incredibly important to encourage students to participate so that they can gain the confidence needed to express themselves, but also acquire effective listening skills in order to effectively apply it in their future endeavors. While this technique can be exciting for students, it's also important to promote individual learning so that they can work by themselves. Assigning homework, essays, exams and quizzes can be an excellent way to give students time to think through topics, develop their thoughts and enhance their critical analysis skills. This is especially helpful in order to pinpoint a student's strengths and weaknesses and further improve them. Lastly, another teaching technique i utilize is the inquiry-based learning method, which promotes the idea of learning by allowing students to perform their own research and investigation, where students can complete projects, ask their own questions and find answers by themselves. The goal of my technique is for students to solve problems and discover information on their own. This permits them to advance to higher levels at their own pace and to perform an active role in their own learning process.
