Henry Weighill

Hello there! I'm Henry, 24, from the UK and I look forward to hopefully helping you continue to learn and improve your English. I have a degree in modern languages (French and German) from the University of Cambridge yet can also speak Italian fluently, after having lived there.

Software: My lessons will be conducted on Zoom but I can also adapt to any software that suits you better.

Format: My lessons will be designed around you and however you best learn! I would be more than happy to adjust anything to your needs and would love to have some student-guided learning. I am perfectly happy to teach anything - from simple conversation classes to discussing the news, reading articles together, practising grammar, reading comprehension or listening exercises. Anything is possible! A general guide to my lessons would be a short starter activity to warm up, followed by a longer main activity which uses all language competencies, and finally a conclusion to consolidate what we learnt throughout the lesson.

Dynamics: I hope that our lessons will be friendly and enjoyable, but always focusing on some serious English practice ;) I will always invite input from the student and hope that the English-learning process can be a team activity that can be mutually beneficial to us both.

Experience: I have worked as both an online and in-person tutor for around 2.5 years now and so have plenty of experience in assisting others to achieve their English goals!
