In my lessons, I first like to cover what a student is familiar with and what they are perhaps less so, and then find a way to explain these to them so they can understand why it works so it stops being memorising rules and more understanding where to apply it. I use diagrams videos and past papers to achieve this.
I understand everyone learns differently so will use a variety of proven techniques like kinetic learning to make find out what methods work best for you. I will also work on your confidence with the subject as to improve your ability to take your revision and learning into your own hands.
I have a strong maths background achieving A* at GCSE and A at A levels and representing my school each year for the UK maths challenge and Olympiad. After school I studied biomedical science but tutored my friends siblings as a part time job, now looking to continue this and help more people get their desired grades.
