I am a teacher of English Literature and Language with over 8000 hours of experience of teaching the subject. Throughout my career, I have had the experience of teaching learners from a range of backgrounds and learning styles. I have taught towards a range of exam boards, across KS3-5.

I am a dynamic, creative and engaging teacher who is able to cater to diverse learning styles. Active learning is central to my approach and I encourage intellectual curiosity. My pupils are motivated to question, debate and think critically. Beyond education, I am a highly creative individual. Inspired by my interest in arts and crafts, along with my passion for English literature, I injects creativity into my teaching.

I gained my postgraduate PGCE qualification from the University of Manchester. For my undergraduate degree, I attained BA (Hons) in English Literature and History at the University of Sheffield.
Teaching is a passion of mine and I am a dedicated professional with a track record of helping students meet both their aspirational and target grades.
