My methods usually comprise regular sessions lasting from one to two hours. Whether we have multiple or single sessions per week tends to vary with the level of the student.
During the first session, I discuss with the student to understand their level, what teaching methods they feel comfortable with, and their objectives (better at carrying a conversation, a better understanding of the grammar rules, writing, reading comprehension...).
The objective of this first session is to plan out the kind of structure and content the student needs.
Personally, I favor reading materials and regular writing practice, but can easily adapt to the needs of the student.
I am also more than willing to help out with homework.
