I have many years of tutoring Sri Lankan students in English online and have also worked as an English teacher's aide in a Taiwanese elementary school. I also used to tutor national 5 and higher students in French at school. I also have worked in a nursery for several years, so I know how to engage even the youngest of children. My approach is flexible and student-tailored to ensure the best possible learning environment for my students. The majority of my experience is in teaching younger children (ages 13 and under), however I would be happy to tutor older students and adults too. I think student-led classes are better, where the student comes to me with something specific they want to work on. I can accommodate any sort of curriculum the student may wish to follow and also come up with my own teaching plans and lesson content. I have already stated that I believe the best way to learn is to tailor the lesson content to each individual student and as such, I would not want to say what my lesson content or lesson dynamic would be like until I meet the student to get a better idea of their needs. As a tutor, I am motivated and want my students to get the best possible learning experience from me. I would expect the student that the student would feel relaxed and able to ask any questions during our time together.
