I have 8 years of teaching experience and have worked with pupils aged 2-18. I enjoy tailoring my lessons to get the best results for my students and creating an environment in which they feel comfortable and supported at every point in their language-learning journey.

I use a range of tools, such as games, Sentence Builders and Quizlet, to make my lessons engaging. I have a very thorough knowledge of the GCSE and A-Level exams and can offer a range of strategies to maximise the marks you can achieve. I have developed a number of ways to make grammar more accessible, thereby widening the range of interactions you can have in your second language.

Before becoming a teacher, I earned a Masters in Audiovisual Translation and then worked as a translator for a large multi-national company on documents for Disney, Cirque du Soleil and Accor hotels, among others.

I am keen to use my years of experience to help you gain a new skill, pass your exam, gain confidence or to develop a broader cultural understanding.
