Interactive & Flexible: Every lesson is designed to be interactive. You can ask questions at any point, and I will adapt the content based on your learning style. I believe in a two-way conversation, so the lessons are never one-sided. We’ll build a comfortable learning environment where you feel confident and motivated to participate.

Structured Learning: I use a clear structure for each lesson to ensure that the concepts are introduced step-by-step, so nothing gets skipped. I often break down topics into digestible pieces, starting with simple concepts and progressively tackling more complex ones.

Hands-on Learning: I make sure that you apply what you've learned through exercises, examples, or challenges that you can work on during or after the lesson. This helps reinforce the material and gives you practical experience. You can also ask me to check your work or guide you through any difficulties you encounter.

Variety of Media: Depending on the topic, I use text explanations, visual aids (like diagrams or charts), and occasionally reference examples in real-life contexts. If you're more of a visual learner, I can generate images for you to better illustrate concepts. If you're more hands-on, we'll focus on more practical exercises and application.

Pacing: I work at your pace. Whether you're learning something completely new or delving deeper into a topic you already know, I’ll adjust the lesson’s speed to suit your needs. If a topic is challenging, we can go over it multiple times or take detours to clarify things in different ways.

Clear Explanations: I break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand chunks. I avoid jargon unless it’s necessary, and when it is, I explain it clearly and in context.

Real-World Applications: Whether we're studying something theoretical or highly technical, I’ll try to connect it to real-life scenarios or practical applications, which helps you see why the material matters.

I’m highly experienced in working with students in the field of music and the arts more broadly. I recognise for those going through GCSE, A-Level and degree assignments that there is a lot of pressure on students and my aim is to ease that pressure and provide bespoke support. My experience comes from working with countless individuals, adapting to their specific needs, and providing answers that guide them through their learning. Over time, I’ve gathered an understanding of what makes lessons effective and how to keep you engaged while ensuring you absorb key information.
