I tutor students online via zoom. I normally test students’ standard of knowledge using past paper questions at the beginning of the first lesson. Upon establishing students’ abilities in the subject areas, I will go through the appropriate concepts with students in areas they find difficulties. I will then re-test their level of understanding. I will ask students whether they want me to explain concepts that they are uncertain at the start of the lesson. If they do not have any uncertainties over the topics taught at school, I will proceed onto training using past papers. I particularly concentrate on examination techniques and interpretative skills to ensure they gain adequate practices before sitting for the examinations.
