Are you looking for help using English in the workplace?

If you are speaking English as a second language at work, I can help you to build confidence and improve communication skills.

I offer bespoke lessons tailored to the needs individuals in their current work role. If you have relocated from abroad you may need survival English for your everyday life as well as support with business functions. I will help you with your speaking and listening skills as well as writing and of course some cultural awareness to ease social situations.

Functions we can work on include speaking on the telephone, taking part in meetings, delivering presentations, or meeting and greeting clients.
I will teach you the vocabulary and phrases needed for these functions and help with pronunciation.

Usually I recommend a course book and this can be supplemented with role play activities and most importantly the use of real materials from your workplace. With permission from your company we can look at reports you need to write and emails to see how you can improve your writing.

I will not focus too heavily on grammar lessons unless I notice any weaknesses. We will be aiming for lessons to be practical and centred around your current job description. At the first meeting I will interview you and carry out a Needs Analysis to see where you need to focus. We will also talk about your learning style which may be Auditory ( Listening), Visual (Seeing ) or Kinaesthetic (movement/touch/doing things.
