I've been passionate about languages from a young age, thanks to my family's strict emphasis on clear speech, proper spelling, and articulate communication. Growing up this way, I noticed that many around me struggled, which sparked my interest in teaching. Teaching not only helped them but also improved my own language skills.
Recently, I had the opportunity to teach a Nigerian man living in Portugal. He wanted to bridge the language gap with his Portuguese wife’s family and daughter. Additionally, I taught a young girl in Birmingham whose father was Angolan and mum from Jamaica . Her Angolan father wanted her to communicate with relatives in Angola.
My teaching approach revolves around conversation, incorporating music, and making the learning process enjoyable for my students.
