Hello, my name is Hein and I lived in Leyton, UK. I am currently living in Cape Town, South Africa since 2005. I am a native ENGLISH speaker. I am a TEFL Certified teacher with more than 18+ years of experience. I have a Diploma in English Language and Literature, I enjoy talking about different subjects from current affairs, history, books, TV shows, and BUSINESS topics. I love to learn new things to broaden my knowledge.

I have my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification, as well as a Diploma in English Language and Literature, for a few years now, and have been teaching for more than 18+ years to 6 to 18-year-olds at private institutes. I also teach private lessons to Adult students, Beginners to Advanced to improve their Grammar, Vocabulary and Conversational Skills. We also focus on BUSINESS ENGLISH to improve your Communication Skills in the Workplace or Business... And to prepare you to work in any English speaking country. I have always enjoyed all aspects of teaching and love seeing students improve their lives and progress further.

I like using general words and sentences that you see or use on a daily basis, it is a great way to start, for example, parts of the body, animals, places, objects, actions, etc. Depending on the level of students, we will plan lessons going forward, to suit their needs. I sometimes give homework to be completed and feedback will be given at the end of the lessons. I use flashcards, books, and activity sheets and most importantly I make each class fun, interesting and calming.
For advanced students, I will discuss hobbies and interests that feel comfortable to hold a conversation and advance as we move forward, and if needed we will use advanced Oxford and other relevant English books.
