I teach online in hourly sessions each week (although these sessions can be made longer/more frequent if necessary). I begin by outlining the curriculum and exam board that the student is going to be examined by as well as where the student is at in their studies, including their grade and my own assessment of their abilities through some exercises. This will allow me to shape my lessons based on what they are currently being taught in school to make sure it is always aligned and to ascertain what type of homework assignments and exercises would best suit their needs.
