I am a proficient teacher of Art, Design, and English. I taught these subjects at an International college for 7 years. I like my lessons to be calm with no stress and I don’t mind how many times I am asked a question I just feel that it is important for the student to understand what they are doing and how they are doing it. Imagination is a wonderful thing and I definitely like students to use theirs. It is an important quality for both English and Art. My lessons are fun and informative, I would prefer that my students enjoyed the lessons I give. When students have fun within a lesson, I find that the outcome for them is very positive.
I have worked with many primary schools and the high school in the town I live in as an ‘Art on the Prom’ artist. Providing art workshops and a design workshop with the high school and the Felixstowe Town Council for redesigning our public gardens area. I am also an actress with a semi professional group here in our town and I feel that this also lends itself to English and reading.
I have taught adults in many crafts and painting techniques and styles and I have taught adult foreign students English.
I enjoy teaching, it gives me great pleasure to witness students succeeding. My past students have gone on to achieve A* in their subjects and have gone on to universities worldwide. I am currently working as a supply in high schools teaching English and Art
