Heather Buchan

I am just starting out as a tutor however I have always been available to help fellow students and those in younger grades to me throughout school. I completed an education module as part of my university course and believe this will assist me in being a great tutor for you.

The format which will be used by myself will include an initial hour to establish the level which you are at and what you need assistance with in relation to English and build a schedule and lesson plan which will help you achieve your English goals.

The content which I am personally most at ease with would include English Literature such as poems and/or short stories however I am able to assist with English language needs as well. I will provide you with written and guided feedback to ensure you have access to materials to assist with your understanding and will be on hand via email to assist with any questions which may crop up outside of one of our lessons.

I am a friendly and approachable person and will always strive for excellence. I hope that you will feel comfortable always during our interactions and I look forward to sharing in your successes and helping you to excel in your English journey. I believe that together, your English grades will skyrocket.
