I have been working as a professional botanical illustrator at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, for over 20 years. In recent years I have started teaching adult classes and love sharing my skills in drawing and painting.

I have taught all sorts of classes - drawing and sketching, pen and ink, colour pencil and watercolour technique. My focus is primarily on natural history and focuses on accurate depictions. At the moment I am teaching regularly at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington, where I have been teaching courses 'How to Illustrate British Butterflies' and 'Painting Exquisite Dragonflies'.
I absolutely love teaching and have had great feedback from my students - they say they find my classes fun and interesting and that they learn a lot of different techniques.
