Hello, My name is Hazel.I am currently based in Derby.I moved to the UK from Africa,English was never my strongest language however I was forced to learn and I didn’t have any one to teach me,so I started going back to the basics which is what helped me.I just graduated and during my university days I was doing some online teaching teaching kids from the age of 6-16 years old.
My methodology is really simple as long as you have a phone , tablet or computer.Before the lesson,I would have prepared a presentation for my learner but from there we going to be working together as a team meaning you going to be the one telling me what you want to learn next or whatever you are struggling with.I also teach sociology and criminology , My favourite subject is understanding the society as well as working with young offenders or youth justice. This modules made me understand more about the world and the norms or expectations that are expected from all of us in the individuals, which can be a problem or a good thing because it been easy to label people according to where they come from.This is something I’ve seen while I’ve been teaching my students as a voluntary worker in the community.
My online lessons they are from 2-3 hours a day. I do teaching Monday to Saturday however Saturday is only 1-2 hours a you are interested in finding out more information please , don’t hesitate to get in touch with me..
