Hazel Malcolm

Hi .. I am qualified teacher with over 20 years work experience. This included delivering training and development courses for organizations, in colleges, universities, plus one-to-one training and coaching. My background is in business studies / economics but I also have a passion for English language and literature - so able to support in enhance the use of English either in terms of the spoken word, listening, or writing. I am well place to support students looking to improve their business English / prepare for UK citizenship test.

I like to develop a programme based on the assessed need of the individual and their long-term goals and aspirations. The session will tend to consist of a review of any individual learning tasks that have been set, a taught session, some practical exercise, and finally an informal assessment of the learning for that session and/or a review of progress. I try to keep the session fun but informative, with a focus of developing the students confidence in the subject and it's application to their real life situations.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, outdoor pursuits and reading.
