Over the years I have tutored students between the ages of 5-28 with great results. In the last few academic years I have seen my GCSE students rise from Level 1 and 2 in English Literature and Language to gaining Level 6s in their official GCSEs. Equally, students starting from 6s rise to 8s and 9s. My previous A Level students worked extremely hard with my feedback and within the sessions to move from grade D to achieving Grade B and As in their final examinations.

This level of improvement is achieved by establishing your child`s strengths and using their confidence to drive change in both their written and verbal communication. One of the most important aspects to learning and developing is making sure your child knows they are capable, and they are able to achieve top grades with the correct methods and essay writing techniques.

I tailor my sessions to your child by assessing their needs and the demands of their particular exam board. It is understanding how your child will reach those needs in the most effective way during exam conditions. This is an aspect which I use throughout my sessions, and a technique which has been very successful and informative for my previous students, breaks down the fear of working to timed conditions, and encourages confidence and effective writing skills.

Please feel free to get in touch. I check my enquiries daily and I respond within one day. My available working hours are flexible if a tutoring session is not possible within the times stated.

I am very pleased to have Hayley as my English Literature teacher. Hayley is absolutely fantastic, she is familiar with the GCSE syllabus and she knows what is needed for the exam. I have a very obvious improvement after her lessons and I am confident that I will get a good grade with Hayley’s tuition. I will definitely continue the lessons with Hayley and undoubtedly to recommend her.
