My lesson format will be consistent and well structured to ensure that you understand the aims objectives for each lesson by performing the following:

Starter:
Either a series of pre-requisite questions or quick-fire questions to test out knowledge and understanding first hand. This will allows me to evaluate a starting point for the lesson and not waste your time!

Example:
We would be going through examples both together and independently. Giving you the freedom to show off what you've learnt. And, more importantly, how to layout the information in a way that helps you.

Diagnostic questioning
Exploring further examples will allow us to delve into the intricacies of a topic. Addressing any potential misconceptions that may occur and how to correctly identify the information we need to answer the question.

Series of tasks - With progressive overload
Well designed and interactive tasks will engage you to learn a topic in an exciting manner.
Intertwining our topics into different topics, showing how these essential skills overlap.

GCSE Style questions
The more you're exposed to GCSE questions, the more confident you will feel!
My lessons will prepare you to answer any topic we will cover.

More time may be spent on exam technique and how to approach a question.
It's important that we can efficiently gather as many marks as possible.

Lastly we will be discussing feedback.
It's important for both parties to consider the progression made and how we can make the journey a more enjoyable experience. Feedback is critical as it allows you to take control of your own learning, which allows me as your tutor to guide you to success.
