Harry Lowery

Hello! My name is Harry. I am a proactive, friendly, and helpful MA graduate with strong academic achievement and teaching experience. Previous colleagues, peers, and professors have noted my exemplary work ethic which complements my strong communication and tutoring skills.

Last year, I was successful in acquiring a position at St. Thomas More Catholic Academy teaching classes of KS3 and GCSE students. My lessons spanned from Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' (1843) and William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' (1606) to focussed lessons on grammar, creative writing and exam preparation.

I am currently awaiting classification for my Masters degree in Creative Writing from Graduate College, Lancaster University. My most recent assignments received the following appraisal: Dr Paul Farley (CREW402, 80%): ‘An outstanding interpretation of and engagement with the module’; Dr Zoe Lambert (CREW406, 76%): ‘All outstanding, with some exceptional moments’. I am also a published writer - I have books, poetry and essays published internationally from Salzburg to Mexico City and would love to assist with any creative writing.
