As a tutor I enjoy having open and informed chats with my students, as I believe it to be the best way of engaging and teaching an individual. These chats shall be enlightened by the appropriate sources and the student should feel comfort to form an opinion they see fit and, most importantly, have the confidence to defend and argue for said opinion. This allows for an enjoyable experience for both myself and the student, for we both have the opportunity to educate each other, and this would create a working and, somewhat, equal correspondence. This correspondence would, of course, be created from the my teachings in the first place, and teaching the individual is one of my primary focuses. My other primary focus is trust, for trust leads to confidence and confidence leads to engagement and this leads to the perfect learning environment for both myself and the student.
