I have been learning Spanish since 4 years old through my grandmother. She influenced me to learn multiple languages and I wish to pass on those influences and teach more people to speak more languages. I always learn through repetition, saying words and sentences until you remember those words and don’t have the struggle to find what word you’re looking for. I encourage students to learn complete and necessary sentences to become conversational. I teach this through Spanish stories, through having conversations in Spanish and developing their basic language structure and finally teaching them the fundamentals of how the Spanish language works, the masculine/feminine and working with different tenses. I encourage students to learn outside of the lessons and set exercises for them to complete. I am a big believer in learning because you want to not because you have to and I like to make the lessons fun and keep it friendly and not too intense. Learning a language completely is no small feat and I always teach in ways that will help the student, learning phrases and words that will be helpful in real life and to prioritise the student and how best to help them study.
