I offer very tailored tutor lessons, where the content and learning style will be adapted to the student's learning style. I have developed my teaching style by spending a year as an economics tutor during sixth form.

Lessons will begin with a review of the student's current understanding of a topic, so I can gauge where there's most room for improvement. Then following the relevant textbooks and my own knowledge, I will teach the student through the topic from the bottom up. I often use practice questions to guide the lesson because this gives the student a chance to practice for exams and I can identify the exact gaps in their knowledge. Enabling me to focus on explaining those areas of weakness. I also encourage students to ask questions and to create debates in the lessons, which is a core skill of being an economist.

Repeating this method has proven very successful, having previously helped 6 Year 12 students meet their target grades. This tailored style of tutoring enables every student to learn in a method that best suits them.
