I believe in a personalised and unique approach with each student whilst maintaining a strong focus on active recall techniques that help ensure the content learnt isn't forgotten in a week's time! Ensuring the entire syllabus is covered comprehensively so you are properly prepared and confident going into the exams is the main priority, but using a variety of learning styles such as mind maps, flash cards, presentations and blurting allows for the content to be digested in a more approachable manner than reading and rereading the syllabus 100x.
I love the subject of psychology, so whilst exams are the priority, any further questions around the topic, or interest in the practical applications of the theory are encouraged and more than welcome! (also helps with remembering the content).
Learning is a two-way process, so while progress and feedback will be given to ensure that the tutoring is helping you achieve your goals and requirements, if there are any concerns you have, ideas you'd like to explore or methods you'd like to practice, I welcome any feedback also!
