I am flexible with my methods of teaching, and tailor my approach to each individual, as I understand we all learn differently.
I have previously tutored with mathematics and music, and thoroughly enjoyed finding new ways of understanding and supporting others. I am patient, supportive and always keen to help where I can!

I have studied English at a Grammar School for several years and continue to use my skills daily during my studies (currently a MSc Nursing student).

I love to read and I like to use this when tutoring English where applicable.

I can be flexible with my time and hours and will try to work best with my student to achieve the best schedule for them. I like to ensure a positive, professional and supportive environment when teaching, so my students feel confident in the sessions (and comfortable to be able to ask questions or for help when they aren’t!).

I have worked with a wide range of individuals, in age, ability and have experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and more. As a previous tutee, I understand the process from both sides of the coin and how daunting taking one to one classes with a tutor can be for some, so please be reassured that I will do my best to make sure I can help you learn in the most effective way for you!
