My experience, including a PhD in History and years of teaching and tutoring, means I can break down complex topics into manageable and understandable parts. I have had the opportunity to further refine my teaching skills through a fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. During these fellowships, I was trained in best practices for delivering engaging, student-centered lessons. I learned how to create an interactive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking, while ensuring that all students feel supported in their learning journey. These experiences taught me the importance of adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners, making history not just accessible, but exciting.
