Harriet Croker

I am an experienced Head of Department and teacher. I have a BSc Honours Degree in Geography from Exeter University and a PGCE in Secondary Geography Teaching. I have worked in education for almost 20 years in and have experience of Grammar Schools, Private Schools and Comprehensives as well as exam board marking.

I am able to help with Years 7-9, GCSEs and A-Levels. My students have a track record of achieving really good grades in school and many of my A level students have gone on to study a Geography related degree course at university.

I have a flexible approach to tutoring in the sense that I can focus on areas they identify that need improving or I can work with students more generally to improve overall their subject knowledge, exam technique and understanding, working through fieldwork and A-Level NEA projects and improvements, essay writing, building confidence in their abilities etc.

Resources are tailored to each session and can include notes, exam questions, model answers, examiner feedback etc.
