I'm a motivated final-year engineering student with a passion for mathematics and teaching. I'm patient and will work to understand where problems become confusing, before explaining the solution clearly. We can work together on problems to support & apply what you've learnt. Maths can be challenging, and I can help you to understand it better.
I work best by working alongside mainstream education to support what you learn in a classroom. We can work to the same curriculum you have in lessons, spending extra time explaining the harder homework problems, or concepts from previous weeks that were more challenging.
My lessons will be taught online at a time that suits us both. I did my maths A-level during Covid online, and have studied lots of my degree online, so I know about effective tools for learning remotely.
I can teach a range of ages and abilities, from primary school up to GCSE. I use the UK curriculum to help plan my lessons, and can tailor lessons to the specifications of different exam boards.
My experience comes from previously tutoring two secondary-school children, and I'm looking to expand this as they sit their GCSEs this year. Their maths abilities have developed and I've spent many hours witht them working through homework problems and explaining concepts alongside their lessons.
My lessons are informal and can be tailored to your needs. Our first meeting will be a quick chat to discuss our learning goals, what your maths-level is, and outlining a plan that works for both of us! I'm available throughout the week during the day and evenings, and I have some weekend availability too.
