Hi, I’m Harriet and I recently graduated with a degree in Molecular Biotechnology. I am about to start studying for my Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine this autumn. I am fluent in German (at the C2 level). I am also very passionate about and proficient in Maths and Science (including, but not limited to, Biology, Biochemistry, and Physics). I have a love for learning and for sharing this passion.
At my university, I am a very active member of various study groups. I offered to help tutor my fellow classmates in areas they were struggling with. During secondary school, I tutored other International Baccalaureate students in my year and the year group below mine in IB Physics and IB Chemistry. I have tutored both in small groups and one-on-one.
I am patient and understanding, and I will work with the student in each lesson to tailor it to the student’s individual goals, be it catching up on lessons, reviewing recent material, getting ahead in class, or learning how to learn certain topics.
To allow for a bit more flexibility for both students and myself, I offer online-only tutoring. I completed the last two years of my degree during the Covid pandemic, so my experience using online platforms to both teach and learn is plentiful. I am confident in my abilities to use software that displays the tablet I am writing on to the students.
