Lessons consist of a great level of interaction and communication to get the best out of all my pupils in order for them to reach their full potential. I take on board every pupil’s concerns and support them in tackling them in order to strengthen those areas in English.

I get straight to the ‘nitty gritty’. I teach my students what they need to know for their exams. I work a lot on structuring essays, improving language terminology, understanding texts to its deeper meaning, common exam questions and of course the books you study in schools. At the end of each lesson we will always end off with an exam question which will summarise what we have learnt that lesson. I keep thinks simple & easy to understand - hence my high success rate.

For online lessons I use a software on my latest iPad which allows me to write & annotate on documents which the student can also see and follow. I will also be sharing resources which can be used up until exam day.

Face to face lessons will be designed in a similar fashion with in depth interaction.

I cover AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas exam boards with all the books and plays they require you to learn. We will also be strengthening our understanding across all books, plays & poetry.

I expect my students to complete work for me weekly with high standards. That’s the only way you’ll see progress!
