I firmly believe in a student-centred approach towards tutoring, focussing on the areas of study where you most need support. Whether you require long-term support or just a one-off session to aid revision, I’m eager to share my knowledge and skills.
As well as providing you with the knowledge of the law that you’ll need for your qualification, I can also help you with your academic writing and exam skills, including reviewing previous work and providing constructive feedback. I’m happy to support you with work from your current place of education and spend time discussing current topics, or to provide you with one of my sessions. These will consist of me explaining the topic alongside visual aids and then providing you with a written/verbal task in which you can apply the information you’ve learned, as well as allowing an opportunity to ask questions.
I wholeheartedly believe in supporting students by showing them patience and allowing them to move at their own pace without applying excessive pressure.
I’m also currently working at the University of Law as a disability and wellbeing advisor, and as such I have the ability to incorporate any accessibility needs into my sessions. Students with disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health problems are very welcome to get in touch!
