Harith Mallawaarachchi

I am a passionate Online Maths tutor based in Sri Lanka. I am conducting online Maths sessions for schools in the UK (Primary- GCSE). I have completed two academic years so far working with UK schools since 2021. I am experienced in delivering both SATS and GCSC revision. Further I participated for NTP last year as an Maths tutor.
I have a sound knowledge in the British curriculum for Maths and have participated in many trainings prior to start working with Schools in the UK. Overall I Have over five years of experience working as a Maths tutor for International schools in Sri Lanka.
My sessions are student centered and I make sure the mathematical concepts are clearly understood by pupils through reflections and assessments. Further I make sure my sessions are pupil friendly and fun while maintaining the professionalism.
In terms of my educational qualifications I have a MBA from Deakin university Australia and a BSC computer Science degree from the University of Hertfordshire.
I love teaching Maths and I feel happy every time when I see pupils learn it and excel in their mathematical skills. I am also trained to teach Pupils who are with special educational needs. I have the ability to quickly adapt to the Pupil's need and deliver the session. I match my teaching style with the pupil's learning style depending on their learning skills. There are slow learners, quick learners and intermediate learners and I make sure each one is well catered.
