In my tutoring practice, I prioritize solidifying foundations to ensure that all my students feel comfortable with the fundamental mathematical concepts. Before progressing to more complex ideas, I dedicate time to reinforce these foundational elements, ensuring that students have a strong understanding to build upon. Furthermore, I firmly believe that one of the most effective ways for students to learn mathematics is by observing problem-solving techniques in action. I demonstrate how to approach specific problems, providing students with clear insights into the methods and techniques involved. Following this, I offer ample opportunities for students to practice similar problems, allowing them to apply and consolidate the methods demonstrated, thus reinforcing their learning.
