I am a medical student that is very experienced in tutoring. I appreciate the fact that not all students learn and excel in the same manner therefore I will take the necessary time to understand how the student learns best. For example, some students are audio learners therefore they understand the content through listening rather than reading. Others are able to understand through doing various questions about the required content and learn through the answers rather than the textbook. Once their unique way of learning is determined, I will focus on ensuring that the student understands and enjoys learning their content. This may be through questions, diagrams or detailed explanations. I will also give out homework to ensure that the student is having constant practice and ensure that they get early exam style question practice. All this is done to ensure that they are highly equipped and ready for their exams.

As l am an individual that has gone through multiple rigorous exams, I am completely understanding of the fact that studying is stressful. However, with the right support and techniques I do believe that it is possible to alleviate those feelings. Furthermore, I do understand that in some cases it is a matter of providing constant moral support rather than encouraging studying. In these cases, I am also willing to be a helping hand.

The lessons will be 1-2 hours long. Once I understand what your aims and requirements are, I will set up a plan on what milestones we need to reach and by when. I believe that the students themselves have it in them to be successful and sometimes all they need is that little bit of support!
