I am a 25-year-old chemistry specialist with experience teaching and tutoring chemistry, physics and biology. I graduated with a first-class Master's in Chemistry from the University of Leeds and have since worked in the Chemical sector whilst regularly tutoring. Having experience in the chemical sector allows me to link school science with interesting real-world applications whilst my teacher training helps to ensure that the curriculum is met and high grades are achieved.
I love teaching science and aim to make science interesting and exciting for all my students. I believe that learning is not a 'one size fits all solution' and hope to give individualised learning to my students in my lessons. I encourage open and curious questions in my teaching to help consolidate learning and increase interest in the subject. I hope to create a friendly atmosphere in my lessons so students can focus on learning.
As well as being an experienced tutor I have experience teaching science in secondary schools and have completed teaching modules at university. Therefore, I am up to date with all current teaching methods and curriculums and am well suited to prepare tutees for upcoming exams or general help with topics.
Tutoring is available for A-level chemistry, GCSE science (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) and KS3 Science (Chemistry, Biology and Physics).
I create interactive lessons and tasks for students to complete based on their needs and level. Lesson length is negotiable depending on students' time restraints, usually 1- 2 hours long. Online lessons only. Please contact me for further information.
