About me

I start my lessons with a game related to the subject I am teaching and the level appropriate. With older kids, I like to do a countdown anagram and with younger kids wordle is a popular choice. I always like to delve into creative writing for younger kids, and basic comprehension, as these are the key skills needed for entrance exams, SATS and even GCSE. I start my lessons with a game related to the subject I am teaching and the level appropriate. With older kids, I like to do a countdown anagram and with younger kids wordle is a popular choice. I always like to delve into creative writing for younger kids, and basic comprehension, as these are the key skills needed for entrance exams, SATS and even GCSE. As always, SPAG lessons are always provided throughout to help kids with their spelling punctuation and grammar in their answers. Regarding older children, I usually like them to delve into longer extracts and engage with language analysis as this is key for both Literature and Language skills.
