I prefer to tailor my lessons to the individual student. I like to learn what level the student is at and then develop my lesson plan from there. The classes involve grammar, comprehension and conversation. Pronunciation is another important aspect covered. Some students like to work on particular texts. For example my A-Level and Junior School students will have a set curriculum including poetry and texts they wish to focus on, whereas, my younger students find it useful to learn words through song and repetition. I encourage some work outside of class e.g. watching English speaking films and reading English language texts. My adult students have often found it useful to discuss current affairs, culture and world news in class. Ultimately, I customise my classes to the student so that they can speak their best English
