I have experience of private tutoring, as well as classroom teaching so I have a wide range of strategies to employ to best support you or your child. My main aim is to increase people's confidence in mathematics, often pupils are able to do much more than they realise and just need some support to fight through the anxiety they have around maths. I prefer my lessons to be more pupil-led, with the student making decisions and using their problem solving skills. I also have a lot of success in teaching study skills - many people just do not know how to revise, and this has made a major positive impact on my students' exam results.
