I base my lessons and methods used based on the preferred techniques of each student and manage my student plans based upon their needs and goals.
I prefer to use various techniques for visual auditory and kinaesthetic learners, I use these categories to determine which methods would be best suited to each student.
I also use various techniques to accommodate other needs regarding neurodiverse students as well as neurotypical students. This can also be useful to be aware of in order to use various techniques and various lessons in order to help teach students.
I prefer using pen and paper for students as well as using colours and various associations in order to help remember facts and vocabulary, I also use practice tests and quizzes to see how far students are developing and how I could help them to develop further. This also allows me to determine which techniques are best suited to each student, and for me to further develop my learning plan in order to accommodate each student.
I believe that each student is individual and no same technique works, I base my sources off the curriculum that the student is given and then after meeting the student I develop a study plan and teaching plan in order to cover all areas of the plan. But I always include the student in these so they can also provide more information on their strengths and weaknesses. I keep all guardians and parents informed in the students progress and if there is anything that could help benefit the learning and development of the student.
