Hannah Kinsella

Hi, my name is Hannah. I am 20 years old and soon to be qualified teacher. Previous employers and friends would consider me an approachable, bubbly and friendly person. I thoroughly want to dedicate my spare time to tutoring and helping educate children who need a hand in reaching their goals.

My Experience:
- Through a University placement, I previously taught in Year 1 for two months. During this period of time I thoroughly built on my phonics knowledge which has now given me the confidence to privately tutor phonics across all year groups at primary level. In addition to this, I assisted teaching in Years 4 & 5 on multiple occasions which helped to increase my confidence in teaching KS2.
- Through the words of previous parents who's children I have taught, I have had a presence which is positive and encouraging to their children. I have worked closely with multiple children who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD and ADD. I personally feel as though I have gained experience of different behaviour patterns and teaching strategies however, no child is the same!
- I work with a supply agency called Randstad in many different schools and nurseries around Liverpool. As I have a few months left until my QTS status, I have had to work as a Supply Teaching Assistant. However, I have gained so much experience from this with different children and different types of schools.

To ensure that time is used effectively and wisely; before meeting whether it be online or in-person, me and the student or guardian will discuss what subjects and/or topics require tutoring for. I will plan in accordance with how many sessions you would like to purchase. These lessons and plans will include learning objectives, what I would like them to achieve by the end of the session (in order to show progress), worksheets and a reward sheet.
