I offer the first lesson free for students, in order for us to get to know each other better. During this lesson, we will explore what you're needing support with, how best you learn, and what you're hoping to gain from tutoring.

I will then create a tutoring plan, including additional activities for you to do in-between lessons and some recommended reading, usually to set some context as to what we're learning!

I can offer lessons in a number of different formats, including lecture style (which features presentations for starting off points), workshop styles (where we work through problems together) or seminar style (where you complete work beforehand and we then 'mark it' together). We can work towards specific goals, such as feeling confident with assignment writing or preparing for exams. I can also offer proof-reading/essay marking during our sessions together.

As a psychology tutor, I can teach across multiple elements of the BPS curriculum, including but not limited to clinical, social, evolutionary and developmental psychology, as well as research methods and statistics.
