Hello and Welcome! I hope to meet you soon, here is a bit about me and my teaching style;
Enthusiastic, patient and understanding, TEFL-qualified teacher who tailors lessons to student's requirements.
First lesson involves student's own assessment of level, what they want to improve, and some other evaluation questions to see their current level in order to build a lesson plan.
As I speak other languages and through my teaching experience, I feel I have a good understanding of difficulties students can run into at the various levels of language learning.
Good knowledge of the Common European Framework (CEFR).
Experience with helping with exam preparation for IELTS/Cambridge exams A1 to C2 levels and have conducted exam simulations.
Creative ways to teach lessons, using media e.g. video clips on youtube, as well as music videos, and traditional games, e.g. bingo, stop the bus, to help with vocabulary building to bring a bit of fun into the classroom, as well as video quizzes to help with listening and grammar skills.
Experience teaching Business and Legal English to working adults, Using Business Result and Legal English as well as other media platforms, law and business websites.
Can provide speaking courses for improving work and holiday conversations for university students and/or young professionals.
Experience teaching range of ages from pre-adolescent kids at elementary/beginner level to employed adults looking to improve a range of English skills, from pronunciation and grammar to helping to expand their vocabulary.
Experience teaching to small groups online, so can use technical platforms with ease.
