Bonjour! Being half french, fluent in the language, and achieving an A grade at A-Level, I have fantastic knowledge on the language and its culture, spending parts of my childhood in France. I have tutored french for a year 9 student and helped them become more confident with the language. I have also had experience as a teaching assistant in a summer school with year 6 and 7 students. My lessons were well received by pupils and they produced excellent work. I take great care in ensuring my explanations are clear, taking much care in preparing lessons and suitable resources for students. My Spanish is also excellent, having completed an equivalent A-level Spanish qualification during my first year at university.

My lessons will take great care in ensuring that my explanations are clear and that work is done and marked so that students get feedback. I have access to suitable resources for students at a variety of levels. I can offer my french expertise whether that be with the spoken Language, pronunciation, vocabulary, exam prep (which I am very familiar with), grammar, literature, or anything academic to provide academic support in my private tutor lessons. I am a very positive and engaging teacher and this will be reflected in my lessons.

I am also proficient in ICT skills and online teaching, using platforms like zoom and google documents to engage in learning. I have a good knowledge of languages websites such as Active Teach and other websites.
