I am looking to teach English Literature, English Language, History and Religious Studies.
I would like to be a teacher.
I like to create personalised lesson plans but ultimately aim to use a range of techniques tailored to fit each type of learning (visual,auditory,spatial..,).
I like to use explanations, music etc for revision but for lessons depending what I am teaching you I will use PowerPoints, documents, booklets, CGP, games, songs and sheets. However,, I will take student preference into account as I understand that not everyone likes using music or note-taking etc Additionally, I will use my own notes and resources available to me through college as well as the students own resources should they desire. I am flexible and can adapt. I am also experienced in teaching those with learning disabilities whether it be dyslexia, ADHD or a slow processing speed through friends and family and tutoring through school.
I love watching someone’s confidence grow as they start to understand something better and whether I need to explain something 50 times or once, I am determined to help every student as much as I can so that they reach their goals.
