I like to have a high energy in the class, with as much conversation as possible - and I will mainly try to speak in English at a level that will be understandable to you as I believe in the importance of input, including listening, reading etc. as a key language learning tool. Speaking too is important but I understand from my own first hand language learning experience that this is more scary so don't worry you will not be made to feel uncomfortable!!

I also like to base lessons around things YOU are interested in - be that sports, or a specific new article, a book, a hobby, a TV programme. Making learning fun and relevant to what you want to learn and what you love. Having travelled a lot, and worked in many jobs I've met people from all over the world and I'm always excited to get to know new people, and to learn from them too - so I'm interested to learn from you too.

Aside from this, I will also help you with grammatical learning, giving you a strong basic foundation to continue learning, and to make learning easier. Vocabulary, tenses, and more will also be covered and we can learn vocabulary around your specific interests and goals to tailor your learning experience making it enjoyable. We can also work on conversational fluency, and at appropriate levels, more in depth idioms, sayings and structure to push your English to that next level and get you sounding like a native.
