Hi, I’m Hannah Christensen, and I’m passionate about helping students develop their confidence and skills in English and beyond! With a background in education and a love for teaching, I’ve spent years working with students of all ages, guiding them through everything from test prep to writing improvement and subject-specific tutoring.

I earned my B.A. in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and I’m currently pursuing an MPhil in International Peace Studies at Trinity College Dublin. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve honed my communication skills and developed a deep appreciation for learning—something I strive to pass on to my students.

My tutoring experience includes working as a Test Prep and Subject Instructor at Huntington Learning Center, where I helped high school students with SAT and ACT prep, as well as coaching middle and high school students in reading and writing. I’ve also worked as a tutor with Fall City Tutoring and as a freelance educator, mentoring students in subjects like mathematics, history, and English. I focus not only on subject mastery but also on essential skills like test-taking strategies, time management, and study habits.

As a native English speaker, I love helping students improve their language skills in a way that’s engaging, interactive, and tailored to their unique learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
