I have a BA (Hons) in French and German and I am currently undertaking an MA in Multilingualism and Multiculturalism, with a focus on French and German. I am currently learning Italian as a beginner, so I know what the language learning process entails from beginner level up to professional working level! Given my background, my lessons focus not just on the language rules and grammar, but also on the cultures and people who speak these languages. My lessons work based on student requirements: grammar, conversation, any topics you like. I have worked as a private tutor for German GCSE exams, following the exam syllabus and being there to answer any questions, correct coursework and offer improvements, while also encouraging conversation. I have also worked with young children (pre-school to primary age), teaching French and German basics like numbers, colours and body parts through songs, dancing and play.
