Before the sessions, I always like to understand what you want to gain and how I can help you. I have always believed that not one size fits all. It's very important that you feel comfortable and listened to. I will help your confidence soar as you feel better about your English abilities.

I am always patient and understanding, mistakes will happen and they'll always be respected. This is how we learn.

I like to start my lessons with a quick memory recall practice as a warm up but this always improves memory. Especially with your GCSE exams, this could be recalling quotes for example.

Then we move onto the main part of our lessons. Discussion is important along with modelling answers, providing you with the tools to construct your own answers in the future. This is important with essay writing, creative writing and in general, each of the 4 GCSE papers.

We will always end with a few minutes of reflection, to have a discussion about the aspects you enjoyed or maybe something that you want some more practice with. Useful, simplified feedback will be given along with teaching you how to self correct and improve your work!

Our sessions will be based on positive reinforcements, trust and enthusiasm, always. I will of course give you a gentle push, but I always do my best to ensure that lessons are interactive, productive and most importantly, accessible to you. Whatever worry you have about any aspect of English, I am here to guide and help you.
